WalkSafe+, is the UK’s most downloaded personal safety app, it is completely free with some unique advantages. It has Journey Sharing so trusted friends can follow journeys real time. For teenagers who don’t want to be tracked, HomeSafe is ideal only revealing their location if they fail to get home on time. The Follow Me feature is a quick sharing of journeys for people jogging, e.g. going out with the dog and we have community icon posting on our map so users can flag poor lighting or areas that feel unsafe.

Perhaps the most interesting feature is our Safety Map – many Local Authorities and Businesses have initiatives and safe space programmes like Safe Havens/spaces. We map safe spaces so people can plan safer journeys and know where to go for help.

Our safety map displays information about venues that have undergone stringent safety training and provide support should you need it (stamp out spiking/Ask for Angela). Look out for night time support within your local community (street marshalls/pastors/angels) live on the WalkSafe+ map.

- Trusted friend circle: Build a trusted circle of friends who can view your location when you choose to share it as well as sharing their own journeys. No one outside of your trusted circle will be able to see your location. WalkSafe is committed to your privacy and will never share your location information unless the authorities request it to assist in an incident.

- Community safety: Help others by posting relevant safety icons to the WalkSafe+ map. WalkSafe users will be alerted to these locations which in turn will make them aware of areas that may be unsafe.

- SOS button: Alert ALL of your trusted friends of your live location. even if they are not viewing your location.

- WalkSafe Journeys: Going somewhere? WalkSafe journeys differ from HomeSafe by allowing you to share your location with your trusted friends. Your location will update in real-time allowing your loved ones to keep you safe on your journey.

- Follow Me: Walking the dog? Going for a run? Just wandering? Follow Me allows you to start a journey with no destination in mind. Simply select a length of time to share your location for and select friends to keep you safe then youre good to go!
